Today’s classrooms are equipped with interactive SMART Boards, digital documents cameras, video conferencing capabilities, and more. Technology has changed the way teachers teach and students learn. It’s also becoming a great motivator.
From the voice of the Byram Hills School District technology director, Marie Kish , “It’s not about technology for technology’s sake…it’s about using the power tools of technology to actively engage students in the learning process.” Ongoing staff development and a Cyber camp offered by the district each summer keeps teachers up-to-date.
